Fatima Haniya, a student of class VII of the English high school Al Hidayath, Thurakkal, enjoyed a cheerful bus ride with her friends on Saturday evening (August 23).
But her carefree bus journey was scared of turning around as the ring of the left hand of the left hand accidentally wedged in the small hole of the window guard. When she stood up to perform in Kodangad near Condotte, Haniya found that her hand was stuck.
When the attempts to save bus workers failed, Haniy’s anxious cries filled the bus. Without any other option, the bus was quickly diverted to the fire and rescue station in Malappuram in the hope of finding a solution to Haniy’s trouble.

The rescue team, led by fire officer Ek Abdul Sale, worked with accuracy and speed. Armed with a metal bars on a baking tray, carefully cut the metal guard of the windows to liberate Haniya a trapped finger. They removed the bus seat to avoid any injury to the girl.
In about an hour, Haniya stood by parents, teachers and school heads steadily at her side and offered comfort and assurance when firefighters worked carefully to liberate their imprisoned finger.
The long -awaited moment of relief finally arrived when Haniyin’s finger was gently liberated, emerging intact and unharmed from the metal trap.
Tears of joy ran down her face and replaced earlier cries of pain, because Haniya was finally reunited with her enthusiastic family.
