The police branch for the police crime (CB) was accused by the leader of the Rahula Mamkootathila, MLA, the charges of the grave, including the coercion to end pregnancy, violation of medical termination (MTP), Cybert law and serial online annoyance.
The first information report of the Agency (FIR), filed in the court for the first class of the Municipality-III in Thiruvananthapuram, reports almost 10 complaints of third parties against Mr. Mamkootathil. Company does not mention any of the complainants as victims. The petitioners include lawyers, female activists and several important writers.
The complainants also demanded that the police in Kerala bring hospitals that allegedly carried out unlawful abortions, and those who allowed crime on the basis of an investigation.
CB said the petitions, including digital evidence submitted to the complainant, revealed recognizable crimes that attracted the provisions of Bharatiya Nagarik Surraksha Sanhit (BNSS).
The agency traced the provenance of the case for a complaint filed by Shinto Sebastian, a lawyer, against Mr. Mamkootathil before the State Commission of Keraral for the protection of children’s rights. Subsequently, the Commission handed over the complaint to the Chief of the State Police (SPC).
The Commission set out on October 9 as a deadline for the police to file its report on this matter, which the petitioner stated that it was likely to include a violation of the life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution and a violation of the Judication Act.
The SPC has transferred CB complaints, which represented a special team including cyber forensic experts to find out the truth of sound clips and records of WhatsApp presented as evidence of the petitioners.
The agency was reportedly prepared to deliver a notice of a set of journalists who claimed to have met one of the alleged witnesses, and later broadcast physical and mental trauma and social security of the person on conventional and broadcasting media.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Health and Family Care has said that the government will provide alleged victims of legal, medical and psychiatric support. She called the accusation against Mr. Mamkootathil as a grave.
The State Secretary of the Communist Party of the India (Marxist) MV Govindan said he reflected the case “rooted misogynia and feudal degeneration” of the leadership of congress “.
