Suryakumar praised Gill’s intent and chemistry with Abhishek, describing their partnership as pure aggression.“Both are trying to match each other’s hit rates. It’s a combination of fire and fire,” Suryakumar said. “If the wicket is a bit difficult, it’s important to adjust. The wicket was good today, so they scored 50-plus in five overs. In the last match, it was important to read the wicket – and these two did exactly that. Gill showed great maturity. They both have good communication, they complement each other perfectly.”
