The Congress Government led by the main Minister Siddaramaiaha, who will complete two years in office next week, on Wednesday, reviewed the progress of various centrally sponsored programs (CSS) and said that the financing of the Center for National Health Mission, Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat, and many other schemes decreased by 40-50%, from 100-90%, to 50-60%.
Mr. Siddaramaiah chaired the state meeting of the Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the Development and Monitoring of District Development (DISHA) and during 2024-25 reviewed the use of funds in centrally sponsored programs. The main minister said that since March 2025 the central and state governments spent 46 859 GBP on centrally sponsored programs. Contrary to the 22,758 GBP Crore, the center released the center of only 18 562 GBP, which was about 82%.
The main minister told Members from all sides representing the state to push the Union’s government to release the allocated funds. During the year, he ordered officials to ensure 100% use of funds.
He has currently said that the Center and the State share the financing of centrally sponsored schemes in a ratio of 60:40. However, the state contributed significantly to programs such as noon meals, providing milk and eggs, which increased the state’s share to 70-80%, he said.
The Center did not publish the funds for the UPPER BHADRA project, social security systems and a computer of primary agricultural cooperative companies during 2024-25, he said.
As part of the MGNGA system, Narendra Modi-Led assigned 2,200.4 Crore 224-25, of which the state received 1,933.48 crore. The sum of 266.92 Crore has not yet been released by the center, he said.
Referring to a shortage in the Jal Jeevan mission, the meeting noted that the Center has not published 10,889 GBP over the last two years. In the years 2024-25, 3,804 Crore was allocated for the state, of which only 570.7 GBP were released. The sum of 3 234 GBP Crore was not released, he said.
Similarly, the resort was still waiting for CRORE 65.82 GBP under the Swachch Bharat mission. From the assigned Crore 215.82 GBP, the state received 150 crore during 2024-25. As part of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana from the assigned Crore 100 Crore, only 34.21 Crore was released into the state during the same year, said Mr. Siddaramaiaha.
The situation did not differ on the basis of the national mission for the livelihood of the countryside. The center released 298.73 Crore compared to the sanctioned 398 crore, he said.
