Film producer Bandla Ganesh met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the House on Thursday after completing the 535-km padayatra to Tirumala as part of a personal pledge.
Mr Ganesh has promised to undertake a padayatra if Mr Naidu, who was arrested in 2023, returns as Chief Minister.
Titled ‘Sankalpa Yatra’, Mr. Bandla Ganesh started his padayatra from his Shadnagar residence on January 19 and reached Tirumala on February 10, completing the journey in 23 days.
Two days ago, he offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala and fulfilled his promise. He met the Chief Minister on Thursday and introduced Tirumala to him.
Sharing details of his padayatra with the Chief Minister, Mr. Ganesh said that party workers supported him during the journey.
