SL vs NZ, 2012In 2012, the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka witnessed two draws in quick succession. The first was between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Both teams managed 174 runs in their allotted 20 overs. The match went to a Super Over where Sri Lanka emerged victorious thanks to their excellent batting. In Bridgetown, Namibia and Oman played thrilling encounters. Both teams scored 109 runs leading to a Super Over. Namibia held their nerve to secure victory and show the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket.PAK vs USAAnother addition to this illustrious list came in Dallas in 2024. The United States faced Pakistan in a Group A match. Pakistan, the 2009 champions, recovered from a poor start to post 159-7. The United States equalized with a thrilling chase as they scored 14 runs in the final over to finish on 159-3, taking the match into the Super Over. In the Super Over, the United States set Pakistan a target of 19 runs. Saurabh Netravalkar’s superb bowling restricted Pakistan to 13-1, securing a historic victory for the United States and marking one of the biggest upsets in T20 World Cup history.The latest addition to the list was the match between Afghanistan and South Africa on Wednesday, which the Proteas won in the second Super Over.
