Suryakumar Yadav sent a fiery warning to the rest of the world ahead of the T20 World Cup by writing an all-time T20I record in the fifth and final match against New Zealand at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, January 31.
The Indian star became the fastest batsman to reach 3,000 runs in men’s T20Is in terms of number of balls, surpassing UAE batsman Muhammad Waseem who reached the 1,947-ball mark in the 2025 Asia Cup match against Oman.
