The old Devaraja market in Mysuro has witnessed a permanent rush in the last week with regard to the festive season.
The market in the city center is located shops that sell almost everything needed to celebrate festivals.
The market has witnessed a massive rush since Wednesday with regard to the Varamahalakshmi festival, which is to celebrate on Friday.
All the basic items needed for the festival are available on the market and also in stores located in its vicinity.
Rush led to a traffic jam in the area. People had a difficult time to park their vehicles in areas where the roads lead to the city market and the central business district.
After the ongoing season, the prices of basic objects such as flowers, fruits and materials of the puja also increased. However, without the increase in the price, people were seen enthusiastically to buy and fully soak in a solemn spirit.
