Ferrari crashed into the gate of an apartment in Hyderabad’s Film Nagar, no one was injured

A luxury car rammed into the gate of an apartment complex in Film Nagar early on Sunday after the driver allegedly hit the accelerator instead of the brake, police said.

The incident happened between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Police identified the driver as 25-year-old Satish and said he lost control of the Ferrari after mistaking the gas pedal for the brake, causing the vehicle to crash into an apartment gate.

There were no injuries or deaths in the incident. However, the apartment gate was damaged.

According to the police, a breathalyzer test on the driver showed no signs of alcohol consumption and it was found that he holds a valid driver’s license.

As of Sunday evening, no formal complaint had been filed by the apartment owner and no case had been registered. Police said the driver allegedly reimbursed the homeowner for the damage caused to the gate.
