
Shraddha Kapoor’s brother and actor Siddhanth Kapoor appeared before the Mumbai police on Tuesday to record his statement in connection with the drug seizure case, officials said.
In addition to Siddhanth, the ANC has summoned influencer Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, on Wednesday 26 November.

Siddhanth, son of actor Shakti Kapoor and brother of actor Shraddha Kapoor, has arrived at the Ghatkopar unit in the anti-narcotics cell, where the investigating officer is recording his statement, ANI reported quoting officials.
The Ghatkopar unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) summoned two Bollywood celebrities after their names came up during the interrogation of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a key accused in ₹The case of confiscation of mephedrone in the amount of 252 million crowns.
What is ₹A case of 252 million drugs?
The case in question dates back to March 2024, when police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone, commonly known as ‘MD’, worth around ₹252 crore from a manufacturing unit located at a farm in Maharashtra’s Sangli district.
According to the police, Shaikh claimed that some film, fashion celebrities, politician and a kind of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim attended rave parties organized by him in India and abroad. Earlier, Siddhanth was arrested in Bengaluru in 2022 on charges of drug consumption.
Which celebrities were nominated?
The anti-narcotics cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch said several high-profile individuals, including Nora Fatehia and Shraddha Kapoor, allegedly attended the lavish parties organized by Shaikh.
In their remand application in a Mumbai court, the police said producers Abbas-Mustan were also allegedly present at the parties along with several other celebrities such as rapper Loka, Orry and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
Shaikh, also known as ‘Lavish’, was deported from Dubai last month.
He was originally arrested in ₹252 Crore Mephedrone Seized from sangli in Maharashtra and later arrested by Ghatkopar ANC unit.
He is a close aide of drug lord Salim Dola, who oversaw the production and distribution of mephedrone in various states, the official said.
