FC Barcelona announced the signature of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United on Wednesday 23 July. Rashford joined a one -year loan agreement and the agreement also has the opportunity to ensure a permanent step. According to media reports, Barcelona will cover Rashford’s wages this season after England International agreed to reduce salaries.
The possibility to buy an English striker was set at approximately EUR 30 million. Rashford will also wear jersey No. 14 for Barcelona in the upcoming season, previously worn by Thierry Henry in the club.
“FC Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement on the player’s Marcus Rashford loan by June 30, 2026. The agreement also determines the opportunity to buy an English striker.”
