With discussions between the government and the members of the PHC physicians Andhra Pradesh, which do not take place, doctors PHC on Thursday continued their transmission hunger for the fifth consecutive day.
According to the Association, more than 1,000 doctors gathered in Vijayawad on Thursday, while others participated in the district level protests. They said that more doctors from hospitals falling within the secondary health headquarters (DSH) were expected to support strike. On Thursday, approximately 120 DSH doctors joined the strike, the members of the association said.
With the participation of DHS doctors, medical services remained in PHCS, the doctors said. The Association claimed that several centers were conducted with non -poutical experts in violation of the Clinical Establishment Act.
The doctors said they wanted a written assurance from the government that the PG quota was assigned to them by 20% at all clinical branches this year for the next five years. They expressed disappointing that the government gave up its promise to create a committee to deal with the requirements of time -bound promotional actions and contributions.
“No committee has been created to date,” said Vinod Kumar, spokesman for Vinod Kumar.
