The SKM General, which met in the National Capital on Sunday, said the US aims to obtain an unregulated approach for its food chains, to trade with giants and agricultural corporations that will operate in India.

These changes disrupt Indian farmers’ independence and bring a disastrous impact on Indian food safety,” the statement said.
The SKM meeting at the district level seeks to emphasize the impact of the bilateral trade agreement in India, India and the framework of national policy on agricultural marketing.
The general body of SKM also decided to cooperate with trade unions, agricultural trade unions and MGNGA trade unions for the success of the General Strikes of the 20th May against four working codes.
The SKM meeting also decided to start specific campaigns, including Mahapanchayats, in Bihar before the elections of the Assembly to defeat the National Democratic Alliance in the State. “SKM All India will take part in the campaign,” he added.
