A group of farmers of cotton seeds from the Jogula-Gadwal district applied for the chairman of the Telangan Agriculture and the Social Care Commission for Farmers M. Kodand Reddy, so that the justice, after the seeds of the foundation provided for them by the seminal companies.
Head leader Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from the district of K. Vijay Kumar, cotton farmers submitted a memorandum to Mr. Kodanda Reddy, who explained their anxiety due to seed failure and rejection of seed companies or organizers to pay them as hard work in the seeding.
They refuse to reject the “unsuccessful” seed, the farmers explained the chairman of the commission. They raised seeds according to standards set by companies, but they now called them unsuccessful seed, based on the growing test, which they did themselves instead of testing the seed in certified laboratories.
Farmers also asked the chairman to make the seminal companies supplied to the farmers through the state government (agriculture department) instead of organizers, leave the seed tested in the department’s laboratories to obtain seeds produced in the recent season tested in the laboratory department instead of companies.
In response to their reasoning, Kodanda Reddy said that the government plans to bring a new seed law and the proposal would include problems caused by Gadwal seed breeders to justice. Farmers also met the leaders of BRS KT Rama and T. Harish Rao and asked them to devote the matter to the government.
