The 32 -year -old farmer was found dead in his rented house in the village of Hebball in Dharwad Taluk.
The deceased was identified as MALLIKARJUN KALLAPPA Shiraguppi. The incident occurred on Wednesday.
According to sources, the deceased farmer owned the land in the village of Shiakol in Navalgund Taluk from the Dharwad district, where he did agriculture.
Reportedly used loans from regional rural bank and private creditors.
Dharwad’s rural police registered the case.
