Jawan Purnam Kumar Sahu Sahu, who was detained by Pakistani forces from the International Border in Pandjab 23 April, expressed his hope for a possible replacement after retaining the Pakistanian guardian in Rajasthan on Monday.
“Now (the detained family of Pakistani Ranger) will also understand what condition our family was in the last 11 to 12 days. This family must also be in the same state. Hopefully they can push their government to release his release and agree to return my husband in swap,” Sahi, BSF Jawan’s wife, on Monday.
Mrs. Sahu added that the family who feared the state of Mr. Sahu now feels that after recent development there is a chance of repatriation to India. The family is located in Rishra in Hooghly District in West Bengal.
The BSF was detained by Pakistani forces 23. April after he allegedly switched to Pakistan’s territory and fell asleep near the international border in the Pandjab district of Ferozepur. This happened for hours after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir.
A few days later, 3 May, the BSF was detained by a Pakistan guard along the Indian-Pakistani border in Rajasthan.
Bholanath Sahu, the father of BSF Jawan, said he trusts the Prime Minister, the Minister of the Interior of the Union and the Minister of the Trade Union Defense to complete the procedure after the development of May 3.
On Monday, the main Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee said that her government is also praying for Mr. Sah’s rapid return. “It is a very unfortunate incident. Trinamool (Congress) MP Kalyan Banerjee is in contact with Mr. Sah’s family. Our government is also in contact with them.
April 28 Mrs. Sahu, who is pregnant, traveled to the BSF camp in Pathankot in Pandjab, relatives to meet higher officials and discuss the possibilities of returning their husband.
After returning, she told the local press that BSF officials assured her about a certain development in the next week. “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam allegedly complicated the matter. However, I was assured of some reports within one week. I also visited the Ferozepur camp, where higher officials said we should maintain faith. Sahu was given after the return from its paycheck.
