False exercises in India: Recurrent exercises in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of the Interior were carried out in several places throughout India, including schools in Delhi, on May 7.

Videos of fake exercises in Delhi school emerged online.
At the Amity School in the Saket, Director Divya Bhatia said that the exercise began at 8.45 hours with a briefing during the morning assembly.
“We explained the purpose of a false drill and steps that students needed to follow. After the briefing, we made a drill to understand this process in a practical way,” she said.
The drill began with a siren and made the students turn off the electrical appliances and cover themselves under their tables or near the walls. As soon as the siren ended, they laid their school bags over their heads and calmly moved to the specified safe area, Bhatia explained.
The Delhi government appointed an initiative of the “Operation Abyaas”. The drill is carried out in 55 locations throughout the city, with the support of the Office for Disasters Adaster in Delhi (DDMA), civil defense volunteers, domestic guards and youth groups such as NCC, NSS and Nyks.
