Algerian Olympic box champion Imane Khelif on Wednesday on Wednesday rejected the claims of his former manager, suggesting that she retired from sport. Khelif, which won gold in the category of women 66 kg at the Paris Games, was recently in the middle of the controversy of sex.“I would like to explain to the public that the news of my retirement from the box is false,” she wrote 26 years on her Facebook page.She accused her former manager of Nasser Yesfaha of “betrayal (her) trust and (her) country with her false and harmful statements”.“This person no longer represents me in any way,” she said.“I have never announced my retirement from the box. I will remain committed to my sports career, I train regularly and maintain my physical condition between Algeria and Qatar in preparation for the upcoming event.”Formerly on Wednesday, the French newspaper Nice Matin reported on comments from Yesfah and claimed that she had hung gloves, albeit without clarifying whether the decision was permanent.The World Box Championship is scheduled for Liverpool from 4 to 14 September and the deadline for access to Monday.
