Theangana (TGMC) officials carried out inspection of 20 skin, hair and aesthetic clinics across Kukatpally, Miyapur and Kondapur in Hyderabad on Thursday, April 3, and revealed the extended practice of unqualified individuals who operate these facilities.
According to Dr. G Srinivase, TGMC vice -chairman, found that several clinics, including dental leather and hair clinic doctors, Skin Clinic clinic, ANOOS clinics, Lexus Skin clinic and views, worked without qualified dermatologists. It was found that VCARE, with branches in Miyapur and Kukatpally, have a dentist providing consultations and performing procedures related to skin and hair disease, including laser treatment and chemical peels.
TGMC officials also labeled ALC hair transplant and several other clinics for similar violations. Dr. Srinivas stressed that medical procedures such as hair transplantation, peeling, plasma therapy rich in plasma (PRP) and laser therapy should only be performed by professionals with MBBS, MD dermatology or MCH plastic surgery. However, the inspection revealed that these procedures were carried out by unskilled individuals.
Cases will be registered against all unskilled doctors pursuant to sections 34 and 54 of the Act on the National Medical Commission (NMC), Dr. G Srinivas.
