After years and back between the Karnataka government and the center, there will be some progress in the development of Chamundi Hills under the rejuvenation of the pilgrimage and spiritual heritage Augmentation Drive (pras) of the central government. The Ministry of Tourism has provoked an offer for the development of public equipment.
Chamundi Hills in Mysuru is one of the places in Karnataka, which was considered to be a development within a program that aims to provide a sustainable religious tourism, along with the Sri Renuka Yellamma temple in the Saundatti in Belagavi and the PAAPNAASH temple in Bidar. The system seems to suit the needs of devotees and tourists and building equipment that would encourage both groups to visit this site more often.
The things that have been designed for the Chamundi Hills Project project include drinking water and toilet equipment, Floria Mandap around the temple space to ensure regular and unlimited pilgrim, stone columns along the section, redesigned hill steps, multi -purpose hall, shoes standing, fountain around Mahasra, police corner etc. Etc. Etc. Etc.
While the offer was first called a few months ago, estimated development costs increased up to 108 crore, which is 60 GBP Crore more than the assignment of the central government for the project.
“We sent the proposal back to the Central Government for releasing an additional amount, but disagreed. Then we asked the state government to provide further funds and receive their consent. She added, “We hope we can offer this time and work can finally start.”
When issuing funds from the Center for the Chamundi Hills project, which led to tension during tourism in South India, took place in Bengalur in September 2024. HK Patil, Minister of Tourism, Law and Parliament, said “it is an embarrassment.” The Minister of the Union then cut off and said that there was some work on the part of the state.
In addition to Prasad, Chamundi Hills was included in Swadesh Darshan 2.0. This will include the Tonga Heritage Experience zone and an ecological experience zone.
