The Ram Temple embezzlement case revolves around the alleged misappropriation of cash and valuables contributed by devotees at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Amid uproar and public scrutiny since 7 June 2026 after Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav alleged that reports of crores of rupees in donations offered at the Ram temple were missing, the matter escalated on 13 June with the Uttar Pradesh government constituting a three-member (donSIT special investigation team) for the alleged investigation team.
