
On the fifth day of the ongoing ALEAP WE KART Exhibition organized by the Association of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (ALEAP) in Vijayawada on Tuesday (March 24, 2026), experts from various banks and organizations provided entrepreneurs with a comprehensive awareness of government schemes, credit facilities and procedures needed to set up industries.
The experts included MP Pahad Singh, Managing Director, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Vijayawada; Mamatha, Assistant Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Vijayawada; Arun Kumar of Government e-Marketplace (GeM); Venkata Krishna, consultant for Zero Effect Zero Defect (ZED); and RJSV Rama Rao, Chief Branch Officer, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).
Experts offered clear guidance on approvals, certifications and application processes necessary for setting up micro, small and medium enterprises. Organizers said several companies will offer franchise opportunities on the final day of the event, Wednesday (March 25), and encouraged women entrepreneurs to visit the expo. The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 9 pm, they said.
