The chief physician of the hospital Dr. On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Vijaya Sree Memorial Cancer Hospital’s Loknath Tripathi emphasized that women above 40 should get screened for cancer as early detection and proper treatment will enable them to lead a normal life. He was speaking at a cancer awareness program held at Mangalampalam Hospital premises on Wednesday. Founder of Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust Raparthi Jagadish Babu said that the hospital has organized 50 cancer screening camps in North Andhra districts during the last four weeks and recommended treatment at nominal fees to the needy women at the hospital established two years ago with the motto of service.
