On Friday evening in a helad located in the Raichur Thermal Power (RTPS), a prepared civil defense was exercised.
The purpose of the simulated exercise was evaluated and strengthening the coordination between civil defense staff and armed forces during crisis situations.
The exercise started at 4 pm with simulated bomb explosions in three different places. As part of the simulated exercise, the general public was seen to draw attention to the police control room immediately after the explosions.
Teams for reaction to emergency situations quickly reached the scene where they performed rescue operations, transported injured individuals and deceased to the primary health center Nagar and Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
Specialized units, including a unit for the disposal of the bomb and the dog unit, carried out the inspection of the locality, while the firefighter boot caused a fire in simulated points of the explosion.
Red barricades were established around the affected areas and the public entry was limited within the detention protocol.
Officials emphasized the need for increased vigilance and readiness, especially in the protection of vital installations such as RTP and YTPS (Yermarus Thermal Power) and chemical factories in the region.
They urged security forces and police staff to maintain alert at all times.
He took part in a simulated exercise, including the police, domestic guards, fire and emergency services, health and family good living conditions, food and civic supplies, central industrial security forces (CISF) and response to state disasters (SDRF), showing coordinated efforts to manage high -risk emergency scenarios.

He also called on people to panic by saying that the simulin drill was just checking the readiness of various government departments to handle any emergency situation.

Police Superintendent Puttamadaiah M. said that several government authorities with their specific roles participated in exercise with proper coordination and contributed to their role to be successful.
“More than 10 government departments took part in the drill. The purpose of the exercise is to prepare civil servants and the general public to effectively face the external enemy threat and protect themselves in such extraordinary events,” Puttamadaiah said.
