Former Minister and writer BT Lalitha Naik joined Congress on Friday. She joined the party in the presence of President KPCC and deputy Minister DK Shivakmar in the party office Bharat Jodo Bhavan in the city.
Veteran social activist Mrs. Naik previously associated with Janata Parivar worked as Minister of Cannady and Culture and Women and Child Care. She also acted as MLC and MLA. In 1991 she packed the Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award.
