
The group of former ninths and activists demanded that the state government recreate the social and financial situation of their families.
Activists Vimukti ninadasi Mahila Vedike and ex-Devadasis that the government had conducted twice in 1993-94 and 2007–208. However, many of the former ninths were excluded from the list for various reasons. So the government will carry out resurves to include such a former ninadoy and children of its next two generations for a 45 -day ride from September 15th. However, it should be more efficient and accurate, they added.
Parashuram and Lingaraju, both officials of the wearers of science, said the government should ensure that two members of the former Ninadasis families are effectively included in the survey to gain the government’s advantage.
There are up to 1164 ex-Devadazi in the district and the government benefited them with monthly pensions. However, the government should assign them to either vacancies or build houses for those who do not have houses in any housing schemes.
They argued that everyone was working as field workers, they had no other source of revenue for living, and insisting that the next generations of their family should ensure respecting life status as others.
Mahalingamma, Gouramma, Bheemabai and others were present, who are all the former ninating.
