Former Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Energy (IGCAR) scientist Kalpakkam Saibaba on Saturday spoke on the evolution of information centers in modern times, the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) and the vital role of research in nation building.
Addressing the theme “Information Resource Centers in the Digital Era: Role of Information Managers” at the World Book and Copyright Day celebrations held at the VIT-AP University Library on April 23 and 24, Mr. Saibaba encouraged young minds to make effective use of opportunities provided by educational institutions and government initiatives for the betterment of society.
