
At a conference on the recovery of Ukraine, European leaders presented a unified queue to support Kiev Defense, reconstruction and long -term future and urged increased pressure on Russia and revealed the coordinated post -war plan of the region’s stabilization.
Starmer and Macron: Plans are “ready to leave”
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron led challenges to increased pressure on Moscow through new sanctions and coordinated support.
“We should move our work to prepare for peace, which will be to force Putin to the table … This coordinated pressure will change,” Starmer said.
He revealed that European plans of peace are “ripe” and support months of preparation, while Macron added that they were “ready to go” as soon as the ceasefire is introduced.
“Coalition willing” reveals a peace plan
Starmer announced that the “coalition of a helpful”, multinational alliance, which has now joined the US, has agreed on operations in the section to support the security of Ukraine.
“We announced plans for the new multinational power of Ukraine based in Paris, so we are ready to support a peace agreement when it comes,” Starmer said.
The headquarters turn to London after a year, with plans for:
- Restore Ukrainian ground forces
- Support air police with coalition aircraft
- Secure the Black Sea
In the short -term horizon, the coalition committed itself to favoring the critical infrastructure of Ukraine over tireless Russian strikes.
“In the coming days and weeks, we will increase our support … through paralyzing sanctions and ensuring that the armed forces of Ukraine have the equipment they need,” Starmer added.
Polish Tusk: “This is the war between civilization and barbarism”
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk released a significant warning: “This is not just a war of Ukraine, but about the war of Europe… or maybe the IO world,” he said.
“It’s a war between civilization and barbarism.”
Tusk described Ukraine inspiration for the world and frontline innovator in defense, especially drones and autonomous technology, and added that NATO must learn a lot.
“There will be no recovery without victory,” he said. “Our conscience cannot rest while Putin is attacking civilians, the night of the night.”

Von der Leyen: “Europe will be with Ukraine as long as it lasts”
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen promised lasting support: “We will be on your side as long as it will take,” she told Ukrainian leaders.

- New support for EU Ukraine’s accession and says the EU is ready to “open a cluster” of negotiations
“The future has two flags: the flag of Ukraine and the flag of Europe,” said von der Leyen.

Germany and Italy will double on the investment and support of accession
The German Chancellor Friedrich Merz confirmed full support for the ambitions of Ukraine EU and compared its recovery to the European rebirth after World War II: “Some of the recipes that were used at that time can still serve us when we focus on recovering Ukraine today,” he said.
He also committed deeper industrial and defense cooperation, including investments in Ukrainian energy and business development.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni warned that Russia intensifies attacks on civilians, but appreciated Ukraine’s resistance: “Our task is to help Ukraine. We will do this to rewrite this new chapter of its history,” she said.
Meloni announced new reconstruction contracts with Italian companies such as Enel and Leonardo and urged companies: “They are not afraid of investing in Ukraine … It is an investment in peace and growth in Europe as a whole.”
Germany Trump: Stay with us
In a rare direct appeal, MERZ also addressed US President Donald Trump and urged the ongoing American support: “We are on the same page and are looking for a stable political order in this world. Stay with us, on this side and our common history.”
