
Ambassador of the European Union (EU), India, Hervé Delphin, expressed confidence that the EU could connect with Kerala in several sectors, including transport, logistics, fishing, education, renewable energy and culture in which the state showed immense potential. During the discussion between the representatives of the various departments of the state government and the representatives of European countries, the Conclave of Kerala-Eu-Eu-Eu-Eu spoke on the potential of the Coast and Fishing sector Kerala on Thursday (September 18, 2025).
Minister of Fishing Saji Cherian led a discussion on the EU delegation on the first day of the conference to prepare the outline of the main questions that are discussed at the conference. The secretaries of the department, including fishing, ports, education, electricity and tourism, submitted presentations before the EU delegation.
Delphin, who spoke at a joint press conference with Mr. Cherian, said the EU recently introduced a new EU-India link plan that wants to expand to the state level. He stated that cooperation with India, knowing that 18 out of 27 EU countries are participating in the end of the EU, is multiple and multi -world, which aims to explore all ways for possible cooperation and investment throughout the country.
Mr. Cherian said the Conclave emphasizes the commitment of Keraly to sustainable fishing, aquaculture and ocean administration. By connecting the state with the hands of the EU and the government of India, the state seeks to create opportunities for coastal communities and at the same time ensure long -term health of the sea ecosystems.
The Chief Minister of Pinaraya Vijayan will deliver the inauguration address in the Conclave that takes place on Friday in Leele Kovallam. Mr. Cherian will chair an inauguration function.
