
The Indian Industry Confederation (CII), Mysuro zones, organized a conference on the environment on Wednesday, social and administration of public affairs (ESG) and EXPO 2025.
Thematically “management of sustainable transformation: matching business with sustainability” took place in cooperation with the CII-ITC Excellency Center for sustainable development, JSS Science and Technology University and Schevaran Cleanfix Academy.
The conference served as a platform for catalyzing interviews around ESG strategies and accelerating growth in the region led by sustainability.
CG Betsurmath, executive secretary JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysur, highlighted a critical role of ESG principles in organizational strategy, especially for initiatives aimed at protection and restoring environmental environmental environmental strategies, ESG in organizational strategy, CG Betsurmath.
He stressed that the integration of ESG frames is essential for building resistant institutions that are able to manage a long-term socio-envged impact.
The speakers, including Santosh Kumar, Vice-President, JSS Stu and Sohanjeet Randhawa, Director-Hospital, Volvo Group India, shared valuable knowledge of the evolving ESG landscape and global proven procedures.
Nagaraja Gargeshwari, chairman of the CII Mysoru zone, noted that sustainability has passed from the requirement to comply with the basic business strategy and reaffirmed the obligation of India to achieve pure zero by 2070, and at the same time emphasized Karnataka in sustainable industrial practices. “We are not just sustainability – we build it, brick brick, business,” he said.
Sam Cherian, the former chairman of the CII Mysur zone, described ESG as a necessary business imperative. He spoke of a nationwide shift to the compulsory publication of ESG through a report on business liability and sustainability and praised the contribution of MSME to this evolving landscape. He also emphasized the growing importance of the state in the sector of pure production and renewable energy.
Ganapathy CP, Convelor of HSE & Wellness Panel, CII Mysuru Zone, emphasized the importance of deep insertion of ESG across sectors and shared that only 37% of Indian companies fully integrated ESG into its operational and strategic frameworks, indicating the scope for collective actions.
All -day conferences were four focused technical sessions: decarbonization industry: path to emissions and resource management; Business case for ESG accounting – growth, risk and compliance; ESG as a growth catalyst for MSMES; and the transformation of the sustainability path-and-and-and-to-one to the value chain.
The conference was attended by more than 150 delegates from various sectors, including production, services, academic communities and advice on sustainability. Expo containing 10 stalls introduced a wide range of sustainable products, green technologies and services included in the ESG offered by participating organizations.
