At the level of local meetings, the Election Commission (EC) organized almost 5,000 meetings with political parties across the country on all waiting questions, including updating election roles.
Through this engagement unit, the largest EC, the Commission has met more than 28,000 representatives of political parties. Meeting comes in the middle of charges of duplicate voters IDs and handling of election blinds from many political parties.
The “structured” contracts with political parties were carried out at the level of electoral registration (ERO), district election official (DEO) and the main election officer (CEO), EC said on Tuesday (April 1, 2025).

“These meetings were held in accordance with the guidelines issued by the main election commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar together with Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vij Joshi, during the main election officers conference held on March 4-5, 2025, IIIM, New Delhi.
