Ernst and Young (EY), one of the “big four” consulting firms, will integrate meta-elements from Web3 into their recruitment process. The London-based company also has an office in India, launching a service called EVE that essentially provides candidates with warm-up pre-visit visit preparations to apply for positions at the company. The service is designed to help job seekers collect information about DOS and NOTS before attending in-person interviews.
The EVE platform allows job seekers to interact with their AI avatars of their EY colleagues. This avatar can be seen in a mono environment that looks like the background of the video in EY’s office.
Currently, avatars that only support English prompt visitors to ask questions during the interview process on EY.
“You can ask me a wide range of questions about EY’s interview preparation and well-being. For interviews, you can ask for behavioral interviews, technical interviews or case studies. If you have a specific question, feel free to ask,” said the Digital Assistant.
It continues to explain how people can navigate by finding and applying for jobs at the company, which estimates global revenue to be around US$51 billion (approximately Rs 429,796 crore) in 2024.
People can ask Eve about EY’s compensation benefits, pension plans and other related follow-up questions.
It is worth noting that AY’s digital avatar has not yet provided a virtual tour of the EY office. However, it does save chat history for users to revisit notes shared by the AI assistant. The company has shared an email ID pointing to its “Metaverse Lab” unit to enable people to report any complaints they may have about the platform’s services.
According to a report from a business insider, candidates applying for jobs in EY are sent to EVE’s links, and they can answer their FAQs in detail during the interview process. The report added that the Eve platform has been thoroughly tested for several months. The report cites EY’s global leader in Metaverse Lab and notes that young job applicants communicate with EVE on average for 15 to 20 minutes.
According to EY’s blog post, its cognitive human enterprise team has been creating virtual worlds.
“It is estimated that the market is estimated to reach USD 800 billion (approximately Rs 67,42,664 crore) in two years, and the dollar has the right to change all industries. The blog notes that organizations that are now trying to address innovation potential will effectively utilize what it will unlock. Opportunity.” The blog noted.
