The Manchester City striker on Wednesday achieved 50 goals in only 49 performances and in 62 games broke the previous record of 50 goals Ruuda van Nistelrooye.Haaland is now closing on the record of Lionel Messi about 60 goals in 80 Champions League performances. After his two goals against Monaco, Haaaland now scored 52 goals in 50 games.Despite his scoring successes Haaaland expressed disappointment after the city drew 2-2 with Monaco for late punishment.“It’s not good enough,” Norwegian said after the match. “We have to try to win another game. It’s the only thing we can do.”The match saw Haaland twice at the Louis II Stade. In the 15th minute scored the opening goal, but Jordan the thesis equalized three minutes later.
