Former US President George Bush’s name has reportedly appeared in the latest tranche of the Epstein Files released by US authorities, media reports suggest.
Files linked to Jeffrey Epstein include a reference to “George Bush 1” in a complaint filed with the New York Police Department, according to reports of the documents.
However, it remains unclear whether it refers to Bush or George HW Bush, who was also the US president. The mention has reignited online attention, prompting renewed scrutiny of what the files actually show — and what they don’t.

The latest installment includes police reports, witness statements and investigative notes in which the alleged victim names several high-profile figures.
In one document, an email or conversation summary records a victim saying she “was also raped by George Bush 1,” and the name appears as a referred party rather than in Epstein’s own records. The files also contain other sensational claims attributed to the same source.
On social media platform X, a user shared screenshots from the document showing email correspondence that includes notes on the account of Epstein’s alleged victim “Thanks M, I didn’t realize Bush raped him too.
He also mentions some other details like – On this yacht, he witnessed African-American men having sex with white blonde women, all of whom bled during intercourse.

“He was the victim of some type of ritual sacrifice where his legs were cut with sabers but left no scars. On the yacht he witnessed babies being cut open, their intestines removed and individuals eating the feces from those intestines,” he adds.
However, LiveMint could not independently verify the authenticity of the claims.

According to the report, the name of film director Mira Nair, the mother of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, also appeared in the files. She reportedly attended an after-party at the home of convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell for her film “Amelia.”
The newly released documents include an email dated Oct. 21, 2009, that columnist Peggy Siegal sent to Jeffrey Epstein right after she left Maxwell’s party, which she said also included former President Bill Clinton and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
“I just left the Ghislaine townhouse…after a movie party,” the publicist’s email read, according to the New York Post.

“Bill Clinton and Jeff Bezos were there…Jean Pigozzi, director Mira Nair…etc. The film got a lukewarm response, although women like it much more…Hillary Swank and (Richard) Gere at a stupid party in the cheap sportswear department of Bloomingdales…very weird,” the email read.
“The studio went to a month of free partying in store and windows… Tomorrow will be Wall Street 2 …. more to come. xoxo Peg,” the email continued, as quoted by the US media outlet.
Maxwell, Epstein’s former partner, was convicted of trafficking minors and other charges and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
