NASA SULITA Astronauts Williams and Butch Wilmore shared their reactions to the unexpected expansion of their mission, days after returning to Earth after their nine -month stay at the International Space Station (ISS).
They also thanked Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump for their involvement in ensuring their safe return.
Wilmore said in an interview with Fox News that he trusted and respects Muska and Trump and calls them to involve “authorization and strengthening”.
When he asked what he wanted to tell Muska and Trump, he said, “I respect you, I believe you. You didn’t give me any reason not to believe you, neither of them. What they say, I can’t say what they say, I didn’t live.”
“I am GRATEFUL THAT OUR NATIONAL Leaders Actuals Are Coming in and Taking Part in Our Human Spaceflight Program, WHIC Refreshing, Empowering.
Sunita Williams was born a similar sentiment, spoke by news and said they were glad to see them “and notice”. She said that their nine -month stay allowed many people, including Musk and Trump, to see what was happening at the ISS and “take it very seriously”.
She also said: “(that allows them to) understand that our involvement of the country as a country as a cosmic nation is really important all over the world. It shows an example and shows our ability to be able to do heavy things, put people into space, work in space, work in space and then bring us back.
Williams and Wilmore spent more than 280 days in space after their eight -day mission, which began in June last year, was extended due to technical problems with their spacecraft Boeing Starliner.
Williams said, “My first thought was that we just had to be a pivot,” he recalled the moment when two astronauts were told that their return would be delayed
“If our spacecraft was going to go home on the basis of the decision that was made here, and we were up there until February, I was glad,” Let’s make it the best, “she added.
Williams, who had been on the ISS previously, said she loves experience with life in space, witnessed “scientific experiments” around them and watched changes made to the station since her last visit.
“We planned, we trained that we would be there for some time, so we were ready to jump into it and accept the tasks given to us,” she said.
Meanwhile, Wilmore talked about how to deal with delay. “It’s about what this human program Spaceflight is about. They are our national goals,” he said.
He also mentioned how his family was trained to be durable. “And I have to wrap … my mind around, what does our nation need from me right now?
“I thought that I wouldn’t be there for my daughters high school? Of course. But … we trained them to be resistant, my daughters and my family,” he added.
Wilmore acknowledged the uncertainty of space missions. “We don’t know what will happen. We may not return in eight days or any plan, focus on it; focus on the mission. Certainly (we) we will deal with the personal page, but I cannot let it interfere with what I have called at the moment,” he said.
NASA CREW-9 Astronauts Sunita Williams, Nick Hague, Butch Wilmore and Russian Cosmonaut Aleksanddr Gorbunov touched on Earth after nine months in space, 18th March after a successful breakdown of the Dragon SpaceX pockets.
After the return of the White House, President Trump emphasized the role of President Trump in prioritizing their rescue. She said the astronauts had safely landed in the Gulf of Mexico and attributed Muska for their return.

In the paper on X, the White House wrote: “Promise Made, Promise kept: President Trump committed to save astronauts stuck in space for nine months.
Trump previously accused former US President Joe Biden of abandoning astronauts in space. On March 7, Trump said that Muska was entitled to bring back Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been in ISS since June last year.
