Deputy Commissioner Gurudatt Hege said that 80% of the population in the district of Shivamogg was included in the social and educational survey.
At a press conference here on Monday, Mr. Hege said that out of a total of 4.85 lakh families, the reporters covered around 4 lake households on Sunday. The administration hoped to complete the remaining households in the next two days, said.
In Sorab Taluk, 100% were completed, while in Shikaripur they completed 90% of households, he said.
Regarding the villages in the Mallad region, where the telephone network was poor, Mr. Hege said that the administration has taken alternative measures to collect families from families.
The CEO of Zilla Panchayat N. Hemanth said the administration identified 250 seats in the district where the telephone network was connected. Measures have been taken to collect data in gram of Panchayat and schools in such rural areas.
