
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday (April 13, 2026) directed officials to ensure that all government welfare hostels are fully equipped and ready before schools reopen in June, stressing that students should not complain about basic amenities.
While reviewing the performance of various departments of the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) at the State Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister said that sufficient funds have already been allocated to improve hostel infrastructure. He called for constant monitoring, proper maintenance and regular inspections by senior officials, especially focusing on food quality, drinking water, cleanliness and hygiene.
