SR Mehroz Khan, Vice -Chairman for the State Warranty Implementation Office, says that five warranty schemes of the state government are praised at national and international level, called on officials to ensure that the systems were effectively performed.
On Tuesday, he chaired the review meeting on progress in Bidar programs and emphasized the importance of efficient implementation to maintain credibility and success of schemes.
“Karnataka’s warranty schemes, carried out with an annual cost of 52,000 GBP, seized economically weaker sections. Bidar District has achieved a remarkable 98% of the implementation rate.
He emphasized the importance of reaching, and Mr. Khan ordered officials to start special campaigns of universities and among young people to promote the Yuva Nidhi system. He also ordered the transport authorities to ensure that school and college buses operate as planned and restored reasonably to prevent the inconvenience of students.
In the light of recent reported cases on the smuggling of the Anna Bhagya Rice Scheme, Mr. Khan warned a fair price, which was entrusted with the responsibility for distributing rice to recipients, strict legislation, except for the cancellation of their licenses and a black document.
Mr. Khan, who provides the implementation statistics, said that from May, 3,74,323 women from a total of 3,81,970 families have registered on the Gruh Lakshmi scheme based on allocation cards. The cumulative amount of 1,197,64 crore was transferred directly to the recipient.
Within the Anna Bhagya system, 333.28 CRORE was 13.13 305 recipients. From July 2023 to January 2025, a cash equivalent of 5 kg of rice was transferred. Since February 2025, recipients receive 10 kg of rice.
Mr. Khan urged food and civilian needs to ensure that this rice would not be unlawfully diverted.
As for Yuva Nidhi, Mr. Khan said that 10,489 youth registered in the Bidar district, with a total of 15.98 GBP Crore. He also mentioned that 3,49,588 recipients were stored in the Gruhi Jyothi scheme, spending 327.69 GBP.
When he talked about the Shakti scheme, Mr. Khan noted that from 11 June 2023 to 31. May 2025, 8.15 crore trips were made, traveling 1.3 Lakh daily. This resulted in expenditures of 233.27 GBP Crore. Daily income from all passengers average 32.4 lakh.
“Overall, Bidar District recorded a total of 8,01.86,364 recipients in all five warranty systems, so far it has been realized that citizens are still available,” he said.
