With the southwest monsoon set to arrive by June, Kodagu Deputy Commissioner SJ Somashekhar has directed officials to ensure adequate supply of fertilizers to meet the demand of farmers in the area.
On Monday (April 13), he presided over a meeting of the District Fertilizer Committee at his office in Madikeri and directed the departments to maintain adequate stocks of key fertilizers like urea, DAP and MOP in line with the expected demand.
