
Enrique Iglesias, the Grammy-winning Spanish singer, gave a spectacular performance at his first show in India in 13 years on Wednesday. As fans thronged the MMRDA grounds at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), where he also performed in 2004, excitement was high. To facilitate the travel of the visitors, Mumbai Metro has extended its services till midnight on the concert days i.e. 29th and 30th October.
As per the latest update from Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), the last trains from Aarey and BKC to Cuffe Parade will now run till midnight. The extended service will allow commuters and event-goers to stay out later without worrying about missing the final train that previously left at 10.30pm.
Posting on X (formerly Twitter), the Mumbai Metro Line 3 team announced, “Mumbai heading to Enrique’s concert at BKC? Take your time for the finale, Aqualine has you covered. Train services will run until 12pm on both days of the concert — 29 and 30 October 2025. Travel safe, travel smart with Metro Line
Enrique Iglesias concert at BKC: Key information for attendees
Enrique Iglesias concert at MMRDA Grounds, BKC is open to visitors aged five years and above. All visitors must have their District Smart Band and valid photo ID for the duration of the event. Re-entry is not allowed.
Timing: Gates open at 2:00 p.m., with the Progressive Brothers and Jonita Gandhi performing at 6:00 p.m. Enrique’s main act starts at 20:00 and the concert ends at 22:00. Entry is via Gate 1 for VIP and Gate 3 for general access.
How to get there: The nearest subway station is BKC (Aqua Line), about 1.4 km away, with extended service until midnight on concert days. Cityflo will operate special return buses that can be booked through the app. Nearby railway stations include Kurla (2.7 km) and Bandra (3.3 km).
Parking and accessibility: Parking is not available inside. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or carpool. Paid parking is available near Jio World Garden, Trident and MMRDA grounds, while limited free parking is at R2 and Parinee Grounds. There is a barrier-free fall zone, entrance (gate 1) and viewing areas.
Allowed/disallowed: Only small clutch bags (up to 6”x9”) and power banks are allowed. Large bags, pets, professional cameras, umbrellas, alcohol and other restricted items are prohibited.
