English coach Brendon McCullum said that players have to be a little smarter with some of his comments on the media. England saw the Renaissance in the test arena after McCullum took over as a party coach. However, the English basball approach faced challenges in all three game formats.
While English doughs faced criticism for lack of adaptability, their comments in the press also did not drop well with scientists. Note Ben Duckett’s Infoumous Champions Trophy After losing the ODI series in India, he saw that the dough was also very contradictory from the former players. McCullum spoke before the Zimbabwe test and said what players say in the dressing room, is very different from what should be said in the public forum.
McCullum said that players should articulate things properly so that they do not lose contact with English fans.
“We have to be a little smarter with some of our comments,” McCullum said. “What we say in the dressing room is often very different from what you expect to come out in the public forum.”
“We just have to be aware of this, smart enough to ensure that we articulate things when we get the opportunity not to lose contact with the English.”
“You are wearing” this way
McCullum said it was all about how you get away from the field and communicate with the public. The English coach said players should show the ability to be humble and show some humility.
“It’s not just what you do in a cricket field. It’s how you wear. This is how you communicate with the public. It’s a message.”
“The ability these guys must be able to play on the largest scene, under the brightest lights and pressure is one thing, but also the ability to be humble and show some humility and not feel from contact with the general population, is something I would like to see us,” McCullum said.
England comes a big summer, starting with a one-time test against Zimbabwe and then a 5-match series against India at home.
