CK College of Engineering and Technology (CKTE), Cuddalore, was assigned an autonomous status for 10 years to a university grant commission.
According to the official press note, the autonomy allows to seize the Cavinkare-patronized academic institution to design the curriculum independently, industrial courses, developing technological modules and the implementation of flexible pedagogy in the real world.
Autonomy was awarded on the basis of the CKCET academic administration, the success of students and the obligation to excel education. Amudhavalli Ranganathan, Executive Director, TA Group of Educational Institutions and Directors, New Initiatives and Electronic Trade, Cavinkare PVT. Ltd. He said: “The way of institution to autonomy reflects years of focused efforts, innovation and growth focused on students.”
The institution also announced cooperation with 15 leading industrial partners to provide students with real practical learning experience. In addition, the College will soon start a mixed program specializing in artificial intelligence and prepare students for the developing global labor market.
