
Mandhana became the second Indian who scored a hundred in the women’s T20is when she put England on Saturday 28th June.
Mandhana played the role of stand-in Captain for this day when Harmanpreet was resting for the match as a preventive measure after being hit on the head during the warm-up game against the ECB Select XI. The Indian opener took only a few boundaries before reaching a landmark in just 51 passed when her hands were lofted in the air. Mandhana was eventually released on 112 escapes from 62 balls when India published 210 for a loss of five goals in their 20 breaks.
