Sai Sudharsan said he was ready to be flexible for the team after being selected in the Indian team on England Tour. Sudharsan was one of the new faces that came to A young Indian team for tour of Englandthat will start 20 June. The choice of Southpaw comes on the back of impressive performances in the home circuit, district cricket and ongoing IPL season.
Sudharsan opens for the GT in IPL and for the Tamil Nadu team in the last season Ranji Trophy, where he scored twice against Delhi. During a press conference before the match before GT vs CSK, Sudhasan was asked if he had priority when he was selected when playing XI. The 23 -year -old said he wasn’t able to choose where he wanted to play, so he would take over any role the team would give him.
“Sir, I think playing for the country itself is a very big privilege for cricket, so I don’t think I’m in a position to choose where I want to play. Wherever I go, wherever the coaches tell me to play, I think I will be mentally and skillfully prepared for this occasion.
Sudharsan said he was very strange that he was called for the Indian test team because he said his final goal was to play in the longest game format.
“Apparently he feels great, he feels very strange to be honest, and also unbelievable. Today, so I’m very happy for it,” Sudhasan said.
A 23 -year -old said he spoke to his family about a video call and were really happy. Sudharsan said there is much more in the story.
“I took a facetim with my parents and my brother in a call, so we’re really happy for it and some family friends and close friends, really happy. They were very happy and I saw it in their face, but it’s just the beginning.
Complete the first story and then go to the next
However, Sudhasan said that his focus is to finish the IPL at the moment and then go to another.
“I always feel that after completing the first story, then go to the next, because now is the most important IPL. When we are in IPL during the IPL, so I think it is also the most important completion, and then of course we will have time to prepare, so we will use this day holder, so we will be ready for the test series,” Sudharsan said.
