Aakash Chopra lifted eyebrows on the eyebrows of Aakash Chopra to decide to go to the final test of Anderson-Tendulkar without a specialized spinner. The decision who is about to start on Thursday, July 31, will straighten the closely attacked series between India and England.
Chopra spoke on his YouTube channel and questioned the English strategy of curious selection strategy and emphasized the contrast with India, from which two or even three spinners are expected. Unlike this, the hosts decided on the XI without a leading spinner, instead of banking on part-time options such as Joe Root, Jacob Bethell and Harry Brook-English camp himself joked as “Ghatiya”.
“If you call him dirt, we will also call him the dirt of his right shoulder,” Chopra said honestly, referring to an off-spin part-time Harry Brook. The young dough in the series bowed at only eight overs, without a goal and admitted 55 runs hard for a strong Indian launch line.
Jacob Bethell, the spinner of the left shoulder, is also known more for his launching, while Joe Root, despite his experience, fought the ball and raised only two goals on average 114.50 out of 52.1 overs.
“You said it was a terrible pitch, not us-and now are you expecting to play a serious role in the test match?” Chopra added and ridiculed what he called confusion in the English camp in terms of Brook’s role.
In addition to the rotary puzzle, the English pace went through the unit by completely reworking. Ben Stokes, treated knee injuries, was expelled, while Jofra Archer, Liam Dawson and Brydon Cars are not unavailable either. In their place, England was brought by Jamie Overton, Josh language, Gus Atkinson and Jacob Bethell.
“Why didn’t Ben Stokes use their best pitching when compulsory exceeding in the last match? Is that when you needed your strike pitch, but you held them back,” Chopra asked, pointing to doubtful decisions in the previous test.
Chris Woakes is the only survivor of the original attack PACE, but its series returns 10 goals on average more than 52, which were stunning and its launch also did not provide great value.
The integration of Josha’s language offers some hope because he took 11 goals in two tests on average 33.63. Atkinson and Overton, both play their first series of the series, bring raw pace and reflections, but lack the rhythm of the match and the recent exposition of red balls.
“England has changed almost everything for the last match. They are entering the decisive test with an inexperienced attack and without a specialized spinner. It is a brave gambling leaflet if it pays off,” Chopra concluded, calling a selection of “mysteries”.
