India Vice-Capital Rishabh Pant provided the foot injury after being excluded from the final test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. On Sunday, he took the social media to thank the fans for their support, and confirmed that he would begin rehabilitation as soon as the fracture in the right leg healed.

Pant suffered an injury 1. Day of the fourth test in Manchester after he drove back on his foot while he was fired to 37. He immediately collapsed in pain and forced medical staff to throw himself on the field. It was taken to a golf trolley and later scan confirmed a fracture that excluded it for at least six weeks.
It is remarkable that despite the injury, the hinge returned to the bat the next day. Watching and in the visible discomfort he not only finished his half-century, but helped India to exceed 350. Pant was one of the Indian standout artists in the series and scored 479 runs in seven shifts, including two centuries in the Opening series in Headley. He also showed immense resistance to Lord’s, where a bold 74 struck in the first shifts, although he was hit by Jasprit Bumrah while standing on stumps.
With the hinge unavailable, Dhruv Jurel will take over the goal of the goal. Selectors also appointed Narayan Jagadeesan as a pant in the group.
