“The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested former Rajasthan MLA Baljit Yadav on charges of money laundering linked to an alleged case of misappropriation of funds,” official sources said on Wednesday (February 4, 2026).
“The former independent legislator from Behror Assembly seat was taken into custody under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on Tuesday (February 3, 2026),” they said.
“The case is related to alleged misappropriation of MLA funds on the pretext of supplying sports equipment to schools,” ED officials said. The federal agency conducted a search against him in January of last year (2025).
