On Thursday, he announced his retirement and quoted recurring injuries and the desire to create opportunities for upcoming crickets.

“These 25 years of my life in cricket have not been unforgettable. I am deeply grateful to BCCi, administration, cricket association Haryan, supporting staff, my colleagues and members of my family who have been with me all the time,” Misra said. “I would like to thank fans whose love and support at any time and wherever I played, made an unforgettable way. Subscribe!The international journey Misra began in 2003 during the ODI TRI-SERIES in Bangladesh. His test debut came in 2008 against Australia in Mohali, where he secured five goals.In 2013, he coincided with the world record of Javagala Srinath by taking 18 goals in five ODI matches against Zimbabwe. He also took part in the T20 World Championship in Bangladesh 2014 and finished 10 goals on the second.After his last international performance in 2017 Misra continued playing domestic cricket and IPL. His last match was for Lucknow Super Giants against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024.At the end of his career, IPL closes the highest goal with 174 goals in 162 matches, maintaining an average of 23.82 and an economic rate of 7.37. It remains the only pitch that has reached three hat-trim in the IPL history.Its IPL tricks were achieved in playing for various teams: Delhi Daredevils in 2008, Kings XI Punjab in 2011 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013.Misra plans to stay in conjunction with cricket through coaching, comments and mentoring young players. He will also work with fans through social media and YouTube.
