The International Day of Monuments and Settlements was held in Kalaburagi on Saturday with renewed emphasis on the preservation of local heritage structures.
Member of the Legislative Council Tippannappa Kamaknoor, who visited the Bara Gazi Toph, a 29-foot cannon, located atop the Bahmani fort in Kalaburagi, emphasized the need for concerted efforts to preserve the historical monument.
