On Saturday, Mr. Chauan visited various public procurement centers (PPCS) in the Hanamkond district to check the ongoing public procurement operations. He checked PPC operated by primary agricultural cooperative companies (PAC) in Ustelicherle, Dharmasagar and Teleculagud and the IKP Center in Dharmasagar.
The main secretary interact with officials and farmers to review the effectiveness of the public procurement process. It emphasized the importance of deploying unpeeled cleaners in all centers to improve quality. He ordered employees to speed up card records and provide fast payments to farmers to avoid delay in transporting products to rice mills.
He repeated the commitment of the government to the process of awarding public procurement and ordered officials to ensure that no farmers face any inconvenience throughout the process.
